Security Guard Needed in Moncton Canada – Full Time

Description of the Position

Provides for the protection and safety of client property and personnel by observing and reporting actions and occurrences at an assigned client site. Patrols for abnormalities and inspects protective devices and fire control equipment on a regular basis. Maintains order and has the authority to enforce site regulations and directives pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Controls access to a client’s location or facility via a check-in process. On foot or in a vehicle, patrols the allocated site, looking for harmful situations, dangers, unsecured doors, security violations, blocked entries and exits, mechanical difficulties, and unauthorized personnel. In the event of an accident, an emergency, or a security inquiry, the evidence or the scene of the incident is protected. Fire, medical emergencies, bomb threats, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergencies, hazardous materials, bad weather, and other situations are all handled by this department. As needed, prepares logs and reports. Specific responsibilities or tasks may differ and should be documented separately. It’s possible that the employee won’t be required to execute all of the tasks specified. According to company needs, additional responsibilities and functions may be assigned.

Qualifications for the Position

The physical and mental requirements of this profession may include the ability to see, hear, talk, and write clearly, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling are all possible.
Frequent sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time, which may include ascending stairs and walking up inclines and uneven terrain.
Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds, as well as occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds, may be required.
Security Guards must be able to meet and maintain all appropriate licensure criteria.
